Wilco Tickets, Tour Schedule and Information
They've been compared to everyone from The Kinks to Cherry Ghost, but Wilco remain very much their own band with their own comfortable style. The big story that typifies both indie music, and Wilco, is that of their fourth album, 2002's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. After recording was complete, Reprise Records rejected the album and sacked Wilco from their label. Reprise gave Wilco the rights to the album for free, and Wilco Foxtrot on its website. Nonesuch Records bought it in 2002, selling almost 600,000 copies, and thousands of Wilco tickets went on demand across the world. Wilco went on to win two Grammy Awards for their fifth album, 2004's A Ghost Is Born. They are a force in the business to be reckoned with and probably one of the few bands to emerge in the past ten years who can be compared to the true "greats".
