Regina Spektor tickets
Information about Regina Spektor.
After an early interest in classical music, hip hop, rock, and punk, Regina Spektor has come to be considered part of the anti-folk scene based in New York City's East Village. Spektor received a great musical foundation at the Manhattan School of Music, on classical piano, from teacher Sonia Vargas. Recognition through sterling performances among those immersed in the anti-folk scene in the East Village's Sidewalk Cafe, and the Living Room. Other hip hangouts, such as Tonic, Fez, the Knitting Factory, and CB's Gallery, have all seen Spektor play her thing and send a highly developed message to the crowd, much more accomplished and structured than you'd expect from most "simple" indie artists. Regina Spektor tickets consequently enjoy a well developed musical cushion from which to launch themselves.
Spektor was known for selling her CDs at shows, and these days this is hard to imagine, as her music has been used in well-known television shows and commercials.
