Broken Social Scene Tickets and Schedule
Broken Social Scene has been described as "a Canadian indie rock supergroup", high praise indeed for this genre. The band is really a form of musical cooperative which presently composes nineteen members. BSS was formed in 1999 in Toronto, Ontario, and their debut album, Feel Good Lost, was purely instrumental in nature. Consequently, Broken Social Scene core members Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning brought in Andrew Whiteman, Jason Collett, Leslie Feist, and Metric's Emily Haines in a move which saw a significant enhancement of their live performances, particularly in the case of vocals. As a result, demand for Broken Social Scene tickets soared. In time, BSS included contributions from other luminaries on the Canadian indie world, and they won the Alternative Album of the Year Juno Award in 2003 with their second album, You Forgot It in People.
