Information about Art Brut.
The English indie rock band, Art Brut, released their debut album, Bang Bang Rock and Roll, in May, 2005, to great acclaim. It caused a spike in the demand for Art Brut tickets. The follow up album, It's a Bit Complicated, released in June, 2007, was equally well considered, and Art Brut are marching on to bang about the indie scene in a most respectable way. Their song, "Formed a Band", appeared on the soundtrack to FIFA Street 2, a game designed for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, Gamecube and Playstation Portable, no mean feat.

Aside from fostering a bizarre need on the part of their members, Art Brut also has an extensive following of "franchises", the names of which range from AB0 (the original Art Brut) to AB3.14/Pi, AB17 and AB². We Are Scientists, another indie band, are the Art Brut franchise AB47. The franchises record and perform Art Brut tunes during their own performances, and constitute one of the more interesting aspects of the growingly complex indie scene.
